Is it possible to live a debt-free life? Not only is it possible, you can learn how in just one evening. The Gettysburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College offers Debt-Free Living, a one session class with two opportunities to attend: Wednesday, Sept. 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Emory H. Markle Intermediate School in Hanover or Thursday, Sept. 8 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Gettysburg Campus.

This class will teach participants how to invest in their debt to achieve true financial freedom by paying off credit cards, car payments, student loans, etc. in one to three years, as well as a 30 year mortgage in 3 to 4 years, saving thousands of dollars in interest payments along the way.

Participants are asked to bring a calculator and list of their debts with balances and monthly payments to class in order to develop a debt elimination plan that may be implemented immediately into their lifestyle.

The cost is $45, which includes a textbook. An additional, optional textbook will be available during class for $43. Registration for this and other courses is available in HACC's Fall Noncredit Course Schedule at the Website below or by calling (717)338-1010.
