Adult learners interested in continuing education opportunities should plan to attend a college fair on Thursday, July 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the lower level of Strawberry Square in Harrisburg.

HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, will join more than 10 local colleges and universities participating in the event.

Representatives from the schools will be on hand to discuss available programs, as well as the admissions process and financial aid.

"We are targeting the non-traditional student with this college fair," explained Sandra Daniels, HACC admissions recruiter for adult students. "We attract a lot of people coming in through Strawberry Square. They often stop to find out information about classes for themselves as well as programs for their spouses and children."

Colleges invited to participate in the fair are Albright College, Duquense University, Central Pennsylvania College, Eastern University, Eastern Mennonite University, Elizabethtown College, Lebanon Valley College, HACC, Harrisburg University, Millersville University, Pennsylvania State University, Phoenix University, Shippensburg University, Temple University, Widner School of Law and York Technical Institute.
