PA Craft, a statewide juried exhibition featuring glass, ceramic, metals, wood and fiber, has opened on the first floor of The State Museum of Pennsylvania, 300 North Third Street, Harrisburg. This first-of-its-kind exhibition features 75 pieces of artwork submitted by more than 300 artists from across the state. The exhibit runs through March 19, 2007, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

Visitors can purchase one-of-a-kind itmes that are in the exhibit, as well as additional pieces made by some of the craftsmen whose work is displayed in the PA Craft Exhibition at Radius, HACC Gallery and Museum Shop, located at The State Museum.

Several upcoming workshops and lectures have been planned in conjunction with the PA Craft exhibition. Scheduled for January and February, the topics include glass beads, clay animals, and making jewelry with precious metal clay.
