Finding a new job can be tough, but HACC's Lancaster Campus is going to make it easier for area residents. More than 60 employers are going to be on hand at the Old Philadelphia Pike campus in HACC's sixth annual job fair.

The event, which is open to the general public is designed to bring together area companies and potential employees for employment, internship and mentoring opportunities according to Lorie Sonnen, career specialist at HACC's Lancaster Campus.

"This event has been growing every year," she said, "and our employers tell us this is one of the best events in the area for finding potential workers."

What's more, Sonnen said, last year's participants noted that the job fair is a great place to network with representatives from a wide variety of industries.

The job fair is scheduled for March 22 and employers will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The job fair will use community rooms in both the Main and East Buildings on the Lancaster Campus located at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.

This year's employers are expected to be an even more diverse group including representatives from the health care, hospitality, social services, manufacturing, technology, government, law enforcement, sales, business, banking, insurance, distributors, printing, child care and education sectors.

In addition to meeting with potential employers participants can explore workforce development and training programs available at HACC's Lancaster Campus.
