Whether your interests lie in history or general interest topics like landlord/tenant law, the York Center of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, has just the ticket this fall with its community education classes.

Maya, Aztecs and Incas - Oh, My! will be offered on three Saturdays, Oct. 7 to 21, 9-11 a.m. at the York Center of HACC located at 2010 Pennsylvania Avenue, York. Cost is $55.

This course will focus on the major accomplishments and contributions to our society of three pre-Columbian civilizations. Class discussions will include basic history, archaeological findings and how these civilizations built their societies and exist without the modern tools and knowledge that we have today.

Landlord/Tenant Law will be offered at the York Center of HACC on Thursday Nov. 2, 6-9 p.m. Cost is $35.

This class is for both those who collect or pay rent. Topics will include Creation of Landlord/Tenant relationships, including Fair Housing Laws, capacity to contract, form leases and statue of frauds; Lease-terms, security deposits, utilities, rules and regulations; Rights and Duties - payment of rent, tenant dispute, implied warranties; termination of relationship and more.

No personal advice will be given by attorney instructors Doug Marsico, Esq., and Kurt Blake, Esq. of York.
