Students looking for a convenient way to fit college into their busy schedules will want to check out the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College. The college has recently introduced three-credit courses that can be completed in eight Saturday morning classes. Credits can be applied toward one of HACC's 98 associate degree programs or transferred to another institution.

Beginning Aug. 25, HACC Lebanon will offer English 101. Sociology 201 will begin Oct. 20. All classes run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"We've created this schedule as a convenient alternative for students interested in completing general education courses that typically transfer to other institutions," explained Cheryl Batdorf, associate dean of academic affairs. "The five-hour class time also gives the faculty the opportunity to introduce both interactive and group work into the classroom."

Registration is currently underway. For more information or to register, students can visit HACC's Website (below) or call the Lebanon Campus at 270-6309.
