Network with experts at free public event on Oct. 22

LANCASTER – Choosing what type of business or computer career to pursue can be a difficult choice, especially since many of these careers require similar skill-sets.
From accounting, agribusiness, banking, international business and marketing/PR to finance, insurance, management, real estate, computers and more, the career opportunities are limitless for those with an interest in any of business-related careers.
But which career is for you? Find solutions and answers to your questions at a free, public Business/IT Career Expo from noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, in room 203 of the East Building at HACC’s Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike.
The expo will consist of numerous panelists from diverse areas in the field who will share their personal experiences and representatives from transfer colleges and universities who will have information on their institutions.You’ll learn from the professionals about work environment and typical duties of various business and computer careers to help you fit your own unique interests, skills and values.
            Come and listen to how these individuals got started in the field, find out their educational backgrounds and learn the best preparation for a career in Business/IT.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin networking with those in the careers you may wish to pursue. You’ll also get advice as you move forward with your own educational goals.
In addition, transfer school personnel will be present with various transfer opportunities. Among the colleges that will be represented are Albright College, Central Penn College, Lebanon Valley College, Delaware College, Elizabethtown College, Temple University, York College and Penn State University.
The panel presentation begins promptly at noon, with audience members having an opportunity prior and following the presentation to meet individually with panelists and talk to HACC admission representatives. Panelists and Transfer school personnel will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.
