Find path to career in high-demand job at June 17 event
June 9, 2008
LEBANON - Find the path to a career in one of several high-demand jobs in the area at Career Night from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s College.

You can be the answer to the need for skilled workers in:

  • Administrative Office Specialist,
  • Computer programs such as Software Specialist and Repair Technology,
  • Welding diploma,
  • Electronics/HVAC starter course, or
  • LPN to RN Option program.

“All of these occupations will help people move ahead, get out of dead-end jobs and find a fresh start with a viable income,” says Kay Litman, Student Services Coordinator. “Training is relatively short, depending on the number of courses taken at a time.”

People who attend Career Night will learn about requirements for these high-demand careers, have an opportunity to speak with program faculty and meet with representatives from admissions, advising and financial aid.

The application fee will be waived during Career Night for anyone who applies for one of the programs and registers for at least three credits for the upcoming fall semester. Fall classes start Aug. 18.

As a bonus, you can enter that night to win an iPod Shuffle or a $100 gift certificate to the campus bookstore.

Take advantage of one of the several career programs offered at HACC-Lebanon and get on the path to a brighter future. Career Night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, in the multipurpose room of the Lebanon Campus in downtown Lebanon at 735 Cumberland St.
