If you are in the job market or contemplating a job change, bring your resume and skills to the annual spring job fair at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.

More that 100 employers are participating in the two-day fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 26 and 27. Many offer on-the-spot interviews for full-time or part-time positions, entry level or professional, and internship and mentoring opportunities in a range of professions.

"Our job fair is a great opportunity not only for HACC students, but also for alumni and members of the community. We've grown to the point where visitors can speak with 55 different employers each day," said Lorie Sonnen, career specialist at the Lancaster Campus. "We'll have many company representatives from Lancaster County but we also have a good number of them from Dauphin, Lebanon, York and Chester counties and even Maryland looking to hire qualified individuals."

When speaking to potential employers, Sonnen suggests that internship opportunities not be overlooked. "They can be key factors in getting a solid foot in the door," she said. "Our students get a lot of support from our internship coordinator to make those connections - we understand how important internships can be for students and graduates starting out."

HACC representatives can provide guidance about workforce development and training programs available at the Lancaster Campus for visitors who want to explore additional professional advancement.

The job fair will be held in the community room in the East Building on the campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. A complete list of employers is available online - click on the Website below. For more information, contact career services by calling 358-2290 or 358-2985.
