Discover benefits of dual admission and transfer programs at free event May 19

Lebnon, PA - Tough economic times call for tough measures, and HACC's Lebanon Campus is positioned to help parents find a way to make attending college a reality for their children.
“Stretch Your Education Dollars” is the topic of a free presentation from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the campus, 735 Cumberland St., in downtown Lebanon.
            Parents and future students who attend will learn about HACC’s agreements with partner four-year schools that make it affordable for students to start at HACC for an associate, two-year degree then seamlessly transfer for a bachelor’s degree.
Meet representatives from HACC as well as professionals from some of the region’s four-year institutions who have partnered with HACC on dual admission and transfer programs, including Lebanon Valley College, Temple University (Ambler Campus), Alvernia College and Penn State Harrisburg.
            In addition, learn ways to finance college through financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
            Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the event, which runs from 6-7:30 p.m. Advance registration is requested but not required. To register, visit hacc.edu/stretch or call 270-4222.
