Open house for noncredit courses set March 15

LANCASTER – If you are interested in teaching noncredit courses at the HACC-Lancaster Campus, explore opportunities available through the Computer/IT and Community Education departments.
Find out if your skills and the courses being offered are a possible match at open house for new instructors from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the community room, Main 222, on the campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. A current resume and references are required to apply.
Currently, the Computer/IT department offers courses in typing, Windows, Microsoft Office applications and updates, project management, graphic design, internet/multimedia, Autodesk/AutoCAD, CompTIA A+, CCNA, and Microsoft IT Professional. The department is looking to expand its instructor base in any of these areas and welcome interested instructors.
Community Education offers a variety of courses in Arts/Crafts/Music, Foods and Spirits, History, Home and Garden, Languages, Money Matters, Photography, Sports/Fitness/Recreation, and many other general interest topics. Instructors are needed for foreign languages, sign language, do-it-yourself projects, public speaking, and creative writing/writing novels. Potential new course ideas also will be considered.
