LEBANON – Working toward completing a General Education Development (GED) diploma can be an obstacle for some – imagine trying to finish in English when your first language is Spanish. To help students get started on a path that can lead to better employment or further education, HACC’s Lebanon Campus offers free preparatory GED classes in Spanish starting in April.
All topics of the GED test, including mathematics, reading and writing, will be presented at the prep classes that are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks beginning Monday, April 9.
Students can enroll in the classes by attending the orientation session at 6 p.m. Monday, March 26, at the local campus, 735 Cumberland St. A preliminary test is included. Students also can contact Kenny Montijo at the Lebanon Campus, 270-6306 or email kmontijo@hacc.edu to participate or for more information.
