HARRISBURG – Live at Rose Lehrman presents The Four Bitchin’ Babes in a humorous holiday concert, “Jingle Babes,” on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012. A pre-show Girl’s Night Out party begins at 6 p.m.
The Four Bitchin’ Babes created “Jingle Babes” as a festive evening of shared musical traditions. Describing the holidays as a “crazy-making time of year and yet one that we love,” the artists promise an evening of music, “shtick and stories of friends and family, malls and mayhem, and ultimately the joy that lies within it all.”
The Four Bitchin’ Babes, also known as Sally Fingerett, Debi Smith, Deirdre Flint and Marcy Marxer, is an original music and comedy troupe that has been touring and recording for more than 20 years. The artists’ recent tours have included “Hormonal Imbalance” and “Diva Nation.” According to Billboardmagazine, “The Babes showcase the wry humor and musical prowess that they command at their nimble fingertips. Stirring acoustic sets stir the heart as well as the funny bone.”
“Jingle Babes” also features a pre-show party that includes free chair massages, a selection of pottery, glassware and jewelry for holiday shopping. Free gourmet coffees, teas and holiday sweets are also available. Show tickets are $38 for adults and $19 for students. To order tickets, call 717-231-ROSE (7673) or go to www.LiveatRoseLehrman.org. Seating is limited.
