Lebanon, PA – Local residents interested in exploring a career as a phlebotomy technician can find out more at information sessions scheduled Aug. 13 and Oct. 9, 2013 at HACC’s Lebanon Campus. Both sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Room 115 at the campus at 735 Cumberland St. in downtown Lebanon.
Topics to be covered will include the phlebotomy technician’s role, physical requirements and responsibilities; curriculum and time commitments; selective admission, point system, and class selection; and what the program is like from the perspective of current students.
“This is a great opportunity to learn about this program,” said
Kay Litman, campus director of enrollment services. “It is a shorter term, 18-credit training program that provides entry into the
healthcare field.”
