HARRISBURG – “Questions Unanswered,” the work of  Jenna DeNoyelles, a former HACC student, will be featured at the Fenêtre Gallery at HACC’s Midtown 2 location from Friday, June 21 through Wednesday, July 10, 2013. A reception will be held for the artist Friday, June 21, 6-8 p.m., during Harrisburg’s 3rd in the Burg.

“My photos are based on questions unanswered: images that exude sensations of puzzled interest, combined with subtle details of odd or eccentric elements. My work also responds to my surrounding environment. Often these framed instances would go unnoticed in their original context,” said DeNoyelles about her work. “By creating a series of unanswered questions and breaking the passivity of the spectator, I want the viewer to become part of the art, raising questions about what is being seen.”

DeNoyelles studied photography at HACC, and has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Penn State Harrisburg. She currently lives and works in Harrisburg.

Fenêtre Gallery is on the second floor of HACC’s Midtown 2 at 1500 Third St. Entrance to the building is on Reily. The gallery is open on Wednesdays from 4-6 p.m. and the third Friday of the month, or by appointment. Events are free and open to the public.
