Tango Fire

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Direct from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Tango Fire brings “Flames of Desire” to Live at Rose Lehrman on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

Tango Fire brings the passion of tango to the stage with 12 dancers and a quartet of musicians, tracing the art form from its origins in the streets to the elegance of the ballroom. The company features Argentina’s new generation of tango dancers, including five recent world champions.

As tango’s popularity on the contemporary entertainment scene increases, Tango Fire has cemented an international reputation as an innovative and exciting practitioner. The company’s productions are set against the musical backdrop of such tango masters as Astor Piazzolla, Mores, Gardel and Rodriguez.

Patrons are invited to enjoy a free pre-show tango demonstration by PA DanceSport of Hummelstown an hour earlier at 6:30 p.m.
