(HARRISBURG, Pa.) – Warm up your vocal chords and join the fun with “Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music,” at Live at Rose Lehrman on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
This fun-filled show for all ages is not just a chance to see the beloved Julie Andrews film, “Sound of Music,” it’s a major audience participation event complete with a free “magic moments goody bag” for each audience member. Come dressed as your favorite character, song lyric or be inventive. Cheer for Maria and sing your heart out because YOU are the show. Costume attire is not required, and toy/replica weapons are prohibited.
Our show begins with a vocal warm-up and instructions led by our professional host, actress Stefanie Miller. Song lyrics will appear on the screen and the audience will be encouraged to “sing-a-long” and participate with props included in the goody bags.
Miller will also lead a pre-show costume parade and contest. Prizes will be awarded.
