Annual job and internship fair will be held March 26 at the Harrisburg Campus

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Are you in the job market, planning a career change or trying to arrange a student internship? If so, you may find the right employer at HACC’s Harrisburg Campus job and internship fair, scheduled on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., in the Bruce E. Cooper Student Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.

Last year, 65 companies from the Harrisburg region participated and interviewed job candidates. There is no cost for job seekers, and the event is open to the public. Participants should dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resume. The fair is an opportunity to meet potential employers and could result in on-the-spot job interviews and possible hiring. Companies are looking to fill full- and part-time positions in a variety of jobs for entry-level and experienced workers.

“The job and internship fair provides students, alumni and the community the opportunity to showcase their skills, explore potential careers and develop new contacts by networking with employers,” said Howard Alexander, career coordinator at the Harrisburg Campus. “Internships are a key to future career success, and therefore, also a fundamental part of the job fair.”

Employers who are is looking for a venue to meet and hire qualified employees for non-trades positions should register for the job and internship fair before Monday, March 17 to take advantage of the $85 registration fee. After March 17, the registration fee will increase to $100.
