HACC Offers Convenient One-Stop Enrollment Event for Registration
HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is hosting a One-Stop Enrollment event on Nov. 19, 2014, from 1-7 p.m. at each of its five campuses in Gettysburg, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon and York.
The event allows individuals to complete an application for admission, learn about financial aid options and scholarships, complete placement testing and register for the spring 2015 semester – all in one day. Visit www.hacc.edu/onestop to register for the event.
With more than 150 programs, including 10 fully online degree programs and approximately 300 online courses available, HACC provides the opportunity for students to complete an Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Science (AS), Associate in Applied Science (AAS), Certificates of Proficiency or a diploma. From the liberal arts to mechanical engineering, HACC provides options with its flexible schedules, financial aid, degree availability and variety of programs, such as accounting, civil technology, marketing, medical assisting and more.

HACC Board of Trustees Appoints New Trustee
Niles S. Benn, Esq. of York County is the newest member of the Board of Trustees of HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
Benn, whose appointment runs through June 30, 2020, previously served as vice chairman of the HACC Foundation Board. Benn was a member of the HACC Foundation Board from September 2009 to October 2014, and served on the investment, executive, allocations and strategic planning committees during his service.
Founder of Benn Law Firm in York, Benn is a community activist who has served on the boards of many local healthcare and arts-related organizations, including Holy Spirit Health System and the Hospice and Community Care Engagement Team. A graduate of The Dickinson School of Law, Benn is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and York County Bar associations.

In fiscal year 2013-14 alone, the HACC Foundation contributed close to $2.2 million to the College in scholarships, special programs and facilities and provided financial assistance to 1,345 students.
