The new mechatronics classroom and lab, which complement HACC’s Mechatronics program instituted in fall 2015, allow students to work extensively with actual industrial components donated by local companies and help prepare them for the workforce.

The Mechatronics program is a combination of mechanical and electrical engineering, which prepares students for jobs in installation, repair or maintenance of electrical, mechanical and/or computerized equipment.
