HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Adult Education Pathways Department at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will hold its first Tee-Off for Education Mini Golf Tournament on Aug. 15, 2015. The tournament will support Adult Education Pathways students at HACC and is planned to be held annually.

Playing in or sponsoring the Mini Golf Tournament will help pay for General Educational Development (GED) testing, English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and scholarships for students to attend HACC, all of which help transition nontraditional students from GED diploma classes to college coursework, providing the option to pursue college and opening the door to economic gain. The tournament offers various sponsorship levels, ranging from $1,500 to $50, as well as the $40 cost to play in the tournament.

The tournament will be held at Water Golf on City Island (600 Riverside Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17101). Both a morning and an afternoon tournament will be held, with prizes awarded for hole(s)-in-one as well as first-, second- and third-place teams.
