Sept. 16, 2016
LANCASTER, Pa. – The East building on HACC’s Lancaster Campus was evacuated shortly after 1:30 p.m. today, Sept. 16, 2016, as a result of a fire alarm. Lafayette Fire Department and East Lampeter Township police responded.
Students and employees returned to the building after fire personnel gave an "all clear."
The building was evacuated for approximately 10 minutes.
"The cause of the alarm was a faulty sensor on the third floor of the building," said Ivan Quinones, director of public safety and security at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College.
