HACC Introduces Timothy Sandoe, New Vice President of Finance
April 27, 2016
HARRISBURG, Pa. – After an extensive national search for a new vice president of finance at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, the College has selected Timothy Sandoe. He assumed his position on April 25, 2016, and is responsible for the direction, leadership and oversight of all financial affairs at the College.

As the chief financial officer to the president and HACC Board of Trustees, he will ensure sound fiscal management and investments including preparation of financial data, budgets and reports as required by the Board of Trustees, HACC Foundation and state, federal and other agencies.

Prior to joining HACC, the graduate of East Stroudsburg University was the director of graduate and professional studies in business development at Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, Pa.  In this role, he introduced LVC to the business community in order to align the college’s offerings with the needs of employers.

Most of Sandoe’s professional experience, however, has been in the banking sector, including a 31-year career with Fulton Financial Corporation. At Fulton, he served in several senior-level positions with responsibilities that included strategic initiatives, direct oversight of 200 employees and indirect oversight of 1,800 employees, retail risk management, consumer credit and small business credit products, and multi-department budget authority and management.

Sandoe is no stranger to HACC, having served the College for 25 years in a number of capacities. His roles have included chair and vice chair of the HACC Board of Trustees, member of the HACC Foundation Board, chair and member of the advisory boards of the Lebanon and Lancaster campuses, and member of the Board of Trustees executive committee, buildings and grounds committee and finance committee.
