HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Senator Jeffrey E. Piccola Law Enforcement Complex of the Senator John J. Shumaker Public Safety Center (PSC) at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, recently celebrated the graduation of 30 cadets from its 111th full-time Municipal Police Academy Program. HACC’s Police Academy is the second largest in Pennsylvania and offers the Act 120 basic training course mandated for all Pennsylvania municipal police officers.
 
Several graduating cadets received outstanding achievement awards at the ceremony on June 22, 2017, at the Dauphin County Technical School. The award recipients are:
  • Anthony Kosmas Glass, physical fitness award
  • Brian Patrick Hoff, most inspirational class member
  • Cody Michael Morris, driver proficiency award and highest proficiency in firearms
  • Tyler John Ott, highest academic achievement
