HACC to Host Open House for Massage Therapy and Reflexology Programs

HARRISBURG, Pa. – HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is hosting an informational open house on June 14, 2017, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the John Hall Technology Center, Room 201, on HACC’s Harrisburg Campus.

HACC’s Massage Therapy Program exposes students to a variety of massage methods and promotes the balance between technique, caring for others and self-care. This program offers 115 hours of hands-on experience and includes day and evening courses. Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Massage therapy is a high-demand field and allows graduates to work in medical offices, spas or their own private practice.

HACC’s reflexology certification prep course prepares students to take the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) exam. Students learn about pressure points and techniques that facilitate stress reduction and relaxation. The 112-hour course can be completed in three months. Completion of the course qualifies students for 100 continuing education units with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the Pennsylvania State Board of Massage Therapy.

The open house will consist of informational sessions followed by a reflexology demonstration. Please call 717-221-1386 to reserve your spot.
