Artist Celebrates Light during Darkest Time of Year at HACC’s Lancaster Campus
LANCASTER, Pa. – “Luminaria” by Lindsey Pei, a collection of work celebrating the beauty of light during the darkest time of the year, opens April 8, 2019, in the Art Space in the East Building at HACC’s Lancaster Campus.

The exhibit runs through May 3.

A reception for the artist will be held from 4:30 – 6 p.m. on April 8. During the reception, Pei will present a slideshow of the Luminaria event that includes pieces installed on the original site.
The presentation will take place from 5 – 5:30 p.m. in East Building Room 203.

Pei, a Lancaster County artist and watchmaker, is the founder of Ornament Incarnate. She invents, designs and fabricates miniature mechanical automata. In contrast to the tiny scale of her work in metal, Pei also builds large scale illuminated, often kinetic, magical creatures.

The Art Space is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
