HARRISBURG, Pa. – For the second year in a row, “Diverse: Issues in Higher Education” has recognized HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, as among the 19 most promising places to work in community colleges in its 2019 survey.

“Diverse: Issues in Higher Education” partnered with the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) to spotlight colleges committed to diversity and inclusion.

The results are based on a compilation of workplace diversity, staffing practices, work environment and data collected from a survey of employees in such categories as family friendliness, salary and benefits and professional development opportunities, according to the publication’s news release.

The results will be published in the magazine’s May 16, 2019, issue.
