HARRISBURG, Pa. – For the third year in a row, HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, is ranked by “
Diverse: Issues In Higher Education” as among the 19
most promising places to work in community colleges.
“This recognition confirms the College’s commitment to promoting collegiality, diversity and respect, nurturing awareness and cultural sensitivity to create a climate of trust and building a learning environment that appreciates and celebrates diversity for anyone associated with HACC,” said John J. “Ski” Sygielski, Ed.D., MBA, president and CEO of HACC.
“Diverse: Issues in Higher Education” partnered with the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (
NISOD) to spotlight colleges committed to diversity and inclusion. The research team used a web-based survey with a focus on workplace diversity, staffing practices and work environment to determine the list.
The findings will be published in the May 14, 2020, edition of the magazine.
