Virtually View HACC Student Honors Photography Exhibit
HARRISBURG, Pa. - A virtual exhibition of photographs by students at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, will be on display Nov. 15 - Dec. 3, 2021, on the Rose Lehrman Art Gallery’s webpage.

The exhibit will showcase over 40 photographs by HACC students enrolled in the spring and fall 2021 semesters. The collection covers a variety of subjects, including landscapes, portraits, still lifes and architecture.

A virtual reception will be held Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m., where participants can meet and talk with HACC students and employees. Awards for first, second and third place will be presented during the reception at 6 p.m.

HACC’s Photography Program includes a traditional black-and-white photo-developing lab, 14 individual color dark rooms, a digital photography classroom and a “Northern Light” studio with a retractable roof that allows students to photograph objects in perfectly diffused, natural daylight.

The gallery received state arts funding support through a grant from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and from the National Endowment for the Arts.

HACC Theatre for Young People to Present ‘Hansel and Gretel’
HARRISBURG, Pa. – Settle in for a good time filled with imagination, psychological insights and theatricality as HACC Theatre for Young People presents the well-known tale of “Hansel and Gretel” in a new way.

During this streamed presentation available Nov. 20-24, 2021, strolling players on the Rose Lehrman Theatre stage will improvise on demand, mime, dance and sing to the delight of audiences of all ages.

Dave Olmsted, HACC assistant professor of theatre, directs this adaptation of the German fairy tale.
