June 13, 2023

Harrisburg, Pa. - The Automotive Technology and Automotive Technology – General Motors (ASEP) programs at HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, received the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Training Program accreditation by the ASE Education Foundation, a national recognition. HACC’s programs have been accredited at the Master Automobile Service Technology level, the highest level of program accreditation recognition.

To achieve this recognition, HACC’s programs were rigorously evaluated by the ASE Education Foundation, which included nationally accepted standards of excellence in areas such as instruction, facilities and equipment.

“We’re HACC proud to receive this distinguished honor. The College’s programs prepare students to enter the workforce in just two years, and this national recognition further enhances the resumes of our current and future students by ensuring they are employable, entry-level technicians,” said Al Griswold, Ed.D, HACC’s vice president of academic affairs.
