About the Fund

The Fund for Student Excellence provides the resources needed to ensure that a welcoming and supportive environment remains embedded in every aspect of HACC’s culture. We are committed to leading efforts in implementing programs and procedures that ensure HACC is an open and accepting space for all.

Impact

With YOUR support, every HACC student will continue to be welcomed and accommodated through innovative programs like:

• The Center for Student Excellence will provide an open and welcoming space for students of all backgrounds to gather and participate in guest speaker presentations, minority club meetings and mentoring programs. This space can be virtual or located on one of our campus locations.
• Mentoring programs will pair students with mentors to provide resources for issues inside or outside of the classroom. Mentors can be paired with the student based on identity or need. Mentors will be paired with students through HACC’s Military and Veterans Affairs Department, Center for Male Engagement, Sister Circle and other affinity and support groups.
• The President’s Award for Excellence would be given to employees who have gone above and beyond to create a culture of acceptance.
