HACC, the HACC Foundation and Community Foundations

Thank you for your interest in supporting HACC students!

Following are ways you can support the educational needs of HACC students:

• Make a tax-deductible contribution to the HACC Foundation. You would contribute to an existing scholarship fund or establish a new scholarship fund. The HACC Foundation would manage the scholarship fund for you and select the scholarship recipients. You would receive detailed reports about your scholarship recipients, scholarship fund balance statements and opportunities to engage with your scholarship recipients. • Contribute to a community foundation in support of HACC students. You would contribute to and establish a scholarship fund with a community foundation. However, the HACC and the HACC Foundation would play NO role with managing the scholarship fund or selecting the scholarship recipients, since the HACC Foundation would not receive the charitable contribution. The community foundation would manage the scholarship fund, select the scholarship recipients and send a check to HACC to pay the scholarship recipients’ tuition. The community foundation would NOT send a check to the HACC Foundation, because the HACC Foundation would play NO role in this process. 

• Pay a specific student’s tuition directly to HACC. You would write a check payable to HACC, write the student’s name on the check memo line and mail the tuition bill check to HACC or pay the tuition bill online. This would NOT be a tax-deductible contribution, and the HACC Foundation would play NO role in this process. For more information, please visit How Do I Pay My Bill.
