Advising

Your academic advisor can help you choose which courses to take to meet your degree requirements. We recommend you contact your assigned advisor via HAWKMail. If they are not available due to leave or summer hours, please visit or call the Advising Office for assistance.

If you don’t know who your academic advisor is, log in to myHACC and look on the top right, under Academic Standing Information.

Scheduling an Appointment

Placement testing must be completed or transcripts submitted prior to speaking with an advisor.
From May 7 to Aug. 1, you can meet with your advisor by calling the Advising Office at 717-780-2498.
Appointments can also be scheduled through the Navigate student app.
Students can drop in to the Advising Office in person or via Zoom on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please note that students are seen for drop-in appointments on a first come, first served basis, and wait times may vary. To drop in via Zoom, use this link and sign in from your computer or tablet (phones are not recommended).
Advising/Alternate PINs cannot be given over the phone, and require a meeting with an advisor by Zoom, by appointment or during in-person drop-in times.
Due to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) regulations, we can only release academic information to the student.
