The Lebanon Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College is celebrating Black History Month with Wednesday evening seminars and a gospel music concert this month. All events are free and the public is invited. Two evening seminars will focus on multicultural topics on February 19 and 26. Groups from the Harambee United Church of Christ, Harrisburg, will perform gospel music during a concert on Sunday, February 23, at 2:30pm.

The two seminars begin at 7pm in the technology lab of the Lebanon Campus. Jennifer Thompson, HACC's director of multicultural affairs is the speaker on February 19. Her discussion will center on multicultural affairs in higher education. Lebanon residents Leonard and Tina Washington will share their multicultural experiences during the February 26 session.

The gospel music performances from the well-known Youth Choir and the established Divine Purpose Band from the Harambee United Church of Christ on Sunday, February 23, will take place in the multipurpose room. A free-will offering will go to the campus scholarship fund. A reception will follow the concert.
