Those looking for a heart-healthy exercise that's fun, too, will find just that in a spring class at the Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC).

Healthy Heart Ballet, Part 1, will be offered at the HACC Campus at 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, Wednesdays, March 17-April 21, 6:30-8 p.m.

For total body exercise, ballet has few equals. Ballet technique helps to improve flexibility, deportment, balance, and energy levels, as well as muscle toning and coordination. It is also beneficial in developing stamina, self-esteem, confidence and well-being.

Those interested are invited to come dance to beautiful music in a discreet and supportive atmosphere, in a course designed for all physiques and weights.

No special clothing is required. Participants should wear clothing that is loose and comfortable. Ballet or jazz shoes are recommended. No sneakers or sandals will be allowed.

Registration for this class and information on many other community education, professional development, and workforce training classes is available in HACC's Spring 2004 Noncredit Course Schedule available online or by calling (717) 338-1010.
