The Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) will offer a class designed to take the mystery out of using a digital camera.

Getting Started with Digital Photography will be offered on Saturday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the HACC Campus, 731 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg.

The class will also be offered on two Fridays, May 7 and 14, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants will learn how to take quality photographs using a digital camera. They will be introduced to basic photo techniques, the differences between recording images on film vs. digital storage media, how to get images from camera to computer, the best way to organize images, and an overview of available cameras and equipment.

Participants do not need to own a digital camera to take this class.

Registration for this class and information on many other community education, professional development, and workforce training classes is available in HACC's Spring 2004 Noncredit Course Schedule available on the Web site below or by calling (717) 338-1010.
