Nine students have been awarded scholarships through the Teamsters Union Local No. 776 to attend HACC, central Pennsylvania's community college, during the 2004-2005 academic year.

The scholarship recipients are Chuck Clouser of New Bloomfield, Kimberly Clouser of Shermansdale, Ashley Dierich of West Fairview, Paula Hockenberry of Millersburg, Kendra Ney of Valley View, Timothy Sherman of Shermansdale, Erin Strong of Harrisburg, Micole Venable of Harrisburg, and Ashley Kinley of Hershey.

The scholarships are awarded to graduating high school senior dependents of union members based on academic achievement. Students may attend the college full time or part time, and must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Each award recipient attending HACC full time received $1,000 and each award recipient attending part time received $500 to study at the college.
