Those who may have purchased or received a computer for Christmas and not sure what to do next will find help at the upcoming Computer Open House offered by HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College.

The Computer Open House is free and will be held in the Wildwood Conference Center on the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Jan. 6, 5-7 p.m. Informational sessions will begin at 5:15 and 6 p.m.

Attendees will be able to meet the computer instructors, preview popular software programs and register for the non-credit spring computer classes.

"In today's fast-paced world, it is difficult to keep up with changes in computer technology," said Sally John, HACC director, IT Training. "HACC has training options relevant for beginners as well as people who work with computers on a daily basis. Whether you are an individual looking for one quick class or are part of an organization looking for customized training, this informational Open House will be helpful."

Those who are beyond the basics, have questions about a specific class, or would like to visit the computer lab may drop in Jan. 6 anytime between 5-7 p.m.

Information may be obtained by calling 780-2414 or 780-2616. General computer course information is available by calling 780-2440. HACC is closed during winter break through January 2, but readers can find out more by logging on HACC's Web site below.
