With a few clicks of a mouse, students, alumni and employers can find easy access to HACC's new online job, internship and resume posting service. Internet users can access the service through the HACC's Career Services Web page under Student Services at www.hacc.edu.

HACC replaced an antiquated and labor intensive system with this free online service in July, according to Sheila Ciotti, director of career services.

"Our new service provides a more precise search that doesn't waste time for users," Ciotti said. "The multiple interactive features make it easy to post job openings or look for career opportunities, whether you are in the classroom, the office or at home."

Step-by-step directions lead students, alumni and employers through a quick registration process that gives them access to the service. Students and alumni can view jobs and internships by area of interest, as well as post their resumes for employer review. Employers not only can post, modify and delete job opportunities online, but also they can view student and alumni resumes by major and area of interest.

"Students are catching on quickly to the online service's benefits, and we have upwards of 400 employers as registered users," Ciotti said. "We're hoping to build use among our alumni as well." HACC's online job, internship and resume posting service can also be accessed by going to the College Central Network at www.collegecentral.com/hacc.
