A lunchtime forum, Healthy Relationships: Safety and Sex, is the last session on Monday, April 12, from noon to 12:50pm in room 227 at HACC's Lancaster Campus. Participants can bring a lunch. Dessert and beverages will be provided.

This is the second series held on the Lancaster Campus of HACC to recognize and address a number of psychological and addictive disorders that are prevalent on college campuses. The series is sponsored by the Student Advisory Council which serves as the student government group at the Lancaster Campus.

The campus also has developed a Mental Health and Substance Abuse Task Force comprised of faculty. The Task Force conducted a literature review, surveyed Pennsylvania Community Colleges and developed and conducted surveys for students and faculty regarding the perceptions, thoughts and experiences about mental health and substance abuse issues.

Recommendations included the development and facilitation of mental health and substance abuse forums, offering wellness programs and support groups as needed, providing drug and alcohol abuse screening and referral, running campus-wide "awareness" programs and activities, holding information sessions, depression screening and an alcohol awareness week.
