An opportunity for Web-page enthusiasts to learn more about creating Web pages and other aspects of Web authoring in a class next month at the Lancaster Campus of HACC, central Pennsylvania's community college.

Web Page Authoring Fundamentals will be offered on Thursdays, Aug. 5-26, from 6-9 p.m. Students will learn how to use Cascading Style Sheets (CCS) and study the basics of Extensible Hypertext Markup Language (XHTML), JavaScript, Dynamic HTML (DHTML) and the Document Object Model (DOM).

After completing this course, students will be able to create simple Web pages containing text, graphics, hyperlinks, tables, forms and frames.

Internet Fundamentals or similar knowledge and experience is a prerequisite.
