HACC, central Pennsylvania's community college, announced the appointments of an assistant dean and librarian.

Mike Corradino, of Elizabethtown, is the new as assistant dean for academic affairs at HACC's Lancaster Campus.

Corradino previously served Penn State Harrisburg in continuing and distance education. Before that, he was program manager at Graham School of General Studies at the University of Chicago, where he was responsible for academic programs, staffing and budgeting.

He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in international relations. Corradino earned the bachelor's from St. Joseph University in Philadelphia and the master's from the University of Chicago.

Lisa Weigard, of Mountville, moved from her job as an adjunct faculty librarian to librarian. Weigard has been an adjunct faculty librarian at the campus since 1997. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a master's degree in library science from Case Western Reserve University, which also is located in Cleveland.
