The Gettysburg Campus of Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) will offer a course on successful interviewing this spring.

Successful Interviewing - Techniques for Hiring, Coaching and Performance Management Meetings will be offered Thursdays, March 4-April 1, 6-9 p.m., at Emory H. Markle Intermediate School, 225 Bowman Road, Hanover.

This is the course that can turn non-interviewers into good interviewers - and good interviewers into great interviewers. Whether you're a general manager or human resources specialist, the fact is that you do some interviewing (formally or informally) virtually every day.

This course will help participants sharpen skills such as open-ended questioning, active listening and reading body language - all essential in a variety of management situations. Class includes American Management Association materials and is one of a number of classes leading toward a Certificate in Human Resources.

Registration deadline is Feb. 19. Registration for this class and information on many other professional development, workforce training and community education classes is available in HACC's Spring 2004 Noncredit Course Schedule available at www.hacc.edu/gettysburg or by calling (717) 338-1010.
