The Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, is offering a series of one-evening sessions specifically for those starting or already operating their own business in Dauphin, Cumberland or Lebanon Counties.

Entrepreneurship - Making the Right Choice will be offered at the Murata Business Center, 453 Lincoln Street, Carlisle, on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 6-8 p.m., and at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15.

This seminar will explore the right choices that lead to business success, including whether to start a business from scratch, buy an existing one or purchase a franchise. Participants will learn how to evaluate the feasibility of their business concept, and how the choice of different business types impacts the ability to generate revenues.

Home-based Business in Dauphin County will be offered at HACC's Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies at Penn Center in Harrisburg, Wednesday, Nov. 2, 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15.

This workshop is for those who want to start a home-based or community-based business in Dauphin County. After the workshop, participants can make an appointment for free one-to-one counseling services for individual business help available in Dauphin County.

Business Plan Financial Projections for Entrepreneurs will be offered at the Murata Business Center, Carlisle, Wednesday, Nov. 9, 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15.

This seminar includes instruction and discussion of the process of preparing financial projections for a business plan that is sufficiently detailed and realistic. For anyone starting a business, knowing how to prepare projections is mandatory for success.

Entrepreneurship - Making the Right Choice will be offered at the Lebanon Campus of HACC, 735 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6-8 p.m. Cost is $15.

This seminar is the same as the one scheduled at Murata Business Center on Oct. 26, brought to HACC's Lebanon Campus for Lebanon County residents.

HACC's Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies also features a Business Start-up Center, which offers free counseling with business professionals, and Women's Marketplace, which offers free marketing advice for women with businesses from concept to three years old.

Other programs include a First Monday program offering basic business start-up information the first Monday of each month from 9-11 a.m.; the Create a Job program for those who have lost their jobs; a Rural Development Program; Veterans Program; and diploma, certificate and associate's degree programs.
