Love is in the air at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, as the Wildwood Chorale presents their annual spring concert. If Music be the Food of Love begins at 8pm on Tuesday, May 10 in the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on HACC's Harrisburg Campus. The program will feature an eclectic blend of music and poetry celebrating all aspects of romantic love. This event is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of HACC assistant music professor, Tina Bakowski, If Music Be the Food of Love musical selections will include: Holst's setting of the Cornish folksong I Love My Love, beloved Korean folksong Arirang, Purcell's 'Tis Woman Makes Us Love, Bosnian folksong Kad ja podzoh, Casal's Nigra Sum, Hopkins' Dear John, Schubert's Liebe, Kiss the Girl (from Disney's The Little Mermaid), and My Bonnie Lass She Smelleth by P.D.Q. Bach.

Members of the Wildwood Chorale (in alphabetical order) are James Baxter, Elise Beckmann, Dana Bolden, Allison Forguson, Frederick Heagy, Teresa Heagy, Janet Hood, Euihyeon (Paul) Hwang, Hilary Johnson, Alyson Kaprocki, Lawrence Keiser, Nicole Landry, Amy LeFever, Sharon Leitch, Emily Long, Alexandra Madden, Jan Moraski, Cathy Rummel, Megan Taylor, Vicky Thompson, Jessica Tripp, Erica Tucker and Jose Venereo.

Comprised of both HACC students and community members, the Wildwood Chorale presents a formal concert at the end of each semester and also sings at various HACC functions and area nursing homes.
