The Rose Lehrman Arts Center at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, proudly announces its 2005-2006 Performing Artist Series season of offerings. The schedule features an eclectic mix of contemporary dance, world-influenced music, classic and innovative theatre and high quality family shows presented in the region's most intimate, comfortable theatre.

"Season 2005-2006 is full of serious fun," says Teri Guerrisi, Director of the series. "A selection of events that runs the gamut. . .from Aquila Theatre Company's production of Shakespeare's tragedy Hamlet to a giant puppet show. . .from Ravel-inspired modern dance to a rockin' and foot stompin' good time with Buckwheat Zydeco."

Patrons are encouraged to join the Friends of the Rose Lehrman Arts Center membership program and receive a number of special benefits, including center section seats, the Note to Our Friends newsletter, and an invitation to the Friends' annual reception. Patrons can take advantage of special discount prices for selected subscription packages of events.

The Performing Artist Series is supported by grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation and the Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour Program. The series also receives support from the Franklin H. and Ruth L. Wells Foundation, the HACC Student Government Association and Pathology Associates.

The Rose Lehrman Arts Center is also the site of theatre productions by HACC TheatreWorks, HACC Theatre for Young People, concerts by the HACC Wildwood Chorale, gallery exhibits, lectures and more.

Patrons can order tickets by mail in July and August. The Rose Lehrman Arts Center Box Office is officially open for full sales on Monday, August 29.
