HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, has hired a healthcare management professional with more than 25 years experience to oversee the noncredit healthcare education at each of the college's campuses.

Cynthia A. Reiner, of Camp Hill, director of noncredit healthcare education, coordinates non-degree healthcare education for residents in the community for careers in healthcare. She also oversees continuing education for medical personnel, developing pathways from current careers into new areas of skill and learning in the healthcare field, and offers contract training to medical practices and healthcare facilities.

Most recently she served as administrator for Susquehanna Breast Care Center and Heritage Diagnostic Center. While in this position, she was responsible for successfully expanding the Diagnostic Center's services and modalities, recruiting new physicians and Services, including implementation of a new computer system which allowed integration of information between the centers and other practices and instituting team building policies and procedures.

Reiner also previously served as director of operations for Heritage Medical Group, LLP, as practice manager for Colonial Park Family Practice and as a licensed practical nurse for Holy Spirit Hospital.

A HACC graduate who earned an associates degree in business administration, Reiner went on to earn a bachelor's degree in the same subject from Messiah College. She also earned a practical nursing degree from Schuylkill County Area Vocational Technical School.

Reiner is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, American College of Medical Practice Executives, PA MGMA, and Pennsylvania Medical Society.
