What could be more fun than a chance to sell your mixed collection of items - handcrafted or not - and see what collections others may bring on a beautiful late summer Saturday at HACC's Lancaster Campus? Flea marketers, craftsmen, non-profit agencies, and community members are invited to register now to participate in the Lancaster Campus Community Day planned for Saturday, September 16 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The inaugural event will be held in the parking lot of the campus at 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike. The rain date is Sunday, September 17.

"This is a chance for HACC's Lancaster Campus to open its doors to the community," said Jennifer Alleman, an academic counselor for the Lancaster Campus. "We plan to make this an annual event that gives Lancaster county residents an opportunity to be a participant as well as attend. You'll never know what you might find from one of the vendors, or discover that HACC's Lancaster Campus offers something that can further your career."

Food items will be available and entertainment is also scheduled for Community Day, including musician Steven Courtney and the Lancaster Barnstormer's accuracy pitch and their mascot, Cylo. The cost to vendors is $35 for two parking spaces. Participants are asked to bring their own tables. The proceeds from the event will benefit various scholarship funds at HACC's Lancaster Campus. The deadline for vendors to register for space is Tuesday, August 15.

For more information on the event, sponsorship opportunities, or to register as a vendor, call 717-358-2988 and ask for Jennifer Alleman or Elena Crain, or you may send an email to Jennifer Alleman at the email address below.
