Non-credit community education classes offered by the Harrisburg Campus of HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, are a great way to meet others with similar interests and pick up new knowledge on a host of subjects.

Following is a sampling of classes on topics ranging from wine to gardening, art to history, saving money for retirement to sports including boating and horseback riding:

eBay Savvy, Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Camp Hill, Tuesdays, April 3-10, and Mondays, May 7-14, 6-8 p.m., $40.

Pruning Flowering Shrubs, HACC Harrisburg Campus, Saturday, April 7, 1-4 p.m., $24.

Container Gardening, HACC Harrisburg Campus, Wednesdays, April 4-25, 6:30-8:30 p.m., $70.

Age of Exploration (history), Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Camp Hill, Thursday, April 5, 10:30 a.m.-noon, $20.

America's Boating Course II, HACC Harrisburg Campus, Tuesdays, April 10-May 1, 7-9 p.m., $75.

Horseback Riding, Liaison Show Stables, Mechanicsburg, Saturdays, April 14-May 12, various one-hour class times, $300.

White House Divas, Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Harrisburg, Thursday, April 19, 10:30 a.m.-noon, $20.

Can You Afford to Retire, Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Camp Hill, Sunday, April 22, 1-4 p.m., $30.

Spend Smart, HACC Harrisburg Campus, Tuesday, April 24, 6-9 p.m., and Thursday, May 3, 6-9 p.m., $46.

The Treasures of King Tut, Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, includes motor coach and tour ticket (meals and free time on your own), Saturdays, April 21, May 5, June 16, Sept. 8, $85.
