Theatre Fun - A great introduction to the fun world of theatre for the young actor. Students will develop skills in concentration, expression, communication, self-awareness, and teamwork through the use of creative dramatics and movement. The workshop will be held from 10:15 to 11:15am at HACC's Harrisburg Campus for children ages 5 through 8. Cost is $60.

Dance, Play, and Move - Students will merge storytelling with dance/movement in this high energy class as they jump, shake, spin, twirl, step, tap, and explore! The class will be held at 9:00-10:00am for children ages 5 through 8 at HACC's Harrisburg Campus. Cost is $60.

The Acting Experience - Designed for the beginner actor, this class will introduce basic acting techniques and training. Learn about characterization and interpretation, improving communication skills, thinking quickly on your feet, movement, and developing imagination while participating in improvised activities. The class will take place from 10:15-11:45am at HACC's Harrisburg Campus for children ages 9 through 12. Cost is $85.

Advanced Acting Technique - This class is designed for the serious actor with a good foundation of skills and experience. Emphasis will be placed upon advanced acting exercises, scene study, and monologue work. Audition skills such as cold readings will also be covered. Actors, ages 13 through 18, may bring a favorite monologue to work on throughout the run of the class. This workshop will occur from Noon-1:30pm at HACC's Harrisburg Campus. Cost is $85.
MARCH 31 - MAY 5 (No class on April 28)

Musical Theatre - Explore a variety of musical theatre styles in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Learn basic vocal production to maximize your sound, song presentation, and musical acting basics. Dancing and movement training will be practiced as you rehearse choreographed scenes from different musical styles! The class will be held at HACC's Harrisburg Campus at 11:30am-12:45pm, for ages 9-12, and 1:00-2:15pm, for ages 13-18. Cost is $80.
